Topic: Ideas from New_Storm

I have had many great ideas over my time playing this game so I'd like to share some of them:

clan size has always been a problem in this game there could always be ups and downs put in to make people think twice about having a huge clan and instead getting better players.
(ex.)A larger clan could have lower production of resources because of "confusion" among the workers...

Having more active and experienced players is always a good thing...
regarding the idea of possible lower resource production for larger clan also territory could be held by clans like from X.....Y... to X... Y.... is owned by a certain clan because of your points and influence in your area. the more territory a clan owns the more of a bonus they could have to resource production maybe even have different biomes for specific bonuses like forest for lumber.
just turn different areas on the map into a specific biome for the specific bonus (this could help trading if someone is in an area with alot of wood they could trade with someone in a different area to get what they need)

I've always wanted troop movements to be shown on a map. going along with my territory idea
maybe you could only see troops moving throught your own or your clan territory so it wouldn't always be obvious who's being attack which would require better strategy. Troops being able to sit/camp on any area of the map would also be nice you could sit troops nearby a spot of high activity and intercept troops moving toward your friends. this would lower rune losses for all sides because some of the fighting would be done out on the map and not at your village.

An in game strategic level map would be a great addition, with choke point battlefield points distributed across the map in various locations where an incoming army could be intercepted would be cool too. Keep 'em coming Storm.

I don't really see the second one happening... You say that a clan could get more bonusses if they "own" a bigger territory? That would mean bigger clans get even more advantages over the smaller clans...

EvE Online uses a concept called sovereignty.  Basically, you hold an area and it becomes yours over time.  How do we define the area?  How do we control the area? And, what do we get for control of the area?

Saw suggests resources.  Personally, I think only one resource: Gold.  It's a levy (tax) that a sovereign clan earns.

What if the size of controlled territory translated into the size of a clan rune bank. Any member could contribute to the bank, only the clan leader could redistribute those runes. I see at least a few obvious problems with this idea. But thought I would throw it our there to be flamed anyway.

I agree that gold would be good for that Hellikin but there would need to be more uses for gold first or else everyone would have tons of useless gold...

Agree... The only thing you use it for after researches is training, and normally you don't need that much for it unless you attack/get attacked every day.

I have no idea how to make troop movements... moving.  What do you have in mind specifically?

icons or pictures of troops on a map you go to with all the villages on it and color coded by clan like doluseek but when you scroll over troops you see the destination and where from

Ohhhh.  No.  I'd not like that at all.  I don't want people to see where my guys are or where they are going or coming from.
