Allright...
Since the victim you attacked is no longer with us it's very hard to tell what exactly happened.

Usually this happens when the target village sends out runes so the battle slots go smaller.
My guess is Primal came online before you hit, he understood he was going to lose a lot of runes so he self destroyed and send a lot of runes out to some other village.
(his troops were out, they had a few more hours to travel back)
It's a matter of time untill i have hard evidence this happened, i'll stumble upon the village that recieved the runes sooner or later....
Ofcourse i could go check his entire clan and find the runes very soon... but since there are no rules this is all in the game.
Some people are better losers then others, it's just like that.

Shame you didn't win all the runes you were supposed to (sending runes out lowers the value of a village and the amount of runes that can be won)

I don't want to speculate about what happened exactly cause that would mean we'll get a discussion going, people will ask for proof what happened and then i will have to go through all those logs.
(i'm lazy)
