Topic: Message to all players

Hi everyone,

So lately there has been a lot going on between the moderators and some players. Since I'm really in the middle of my exams at the moment (and I haven't slept for 28 hours, so please forgive me for my bad English and what all), so I'd like to write this very short message to everyone.

As I've stated previously, I fully support the decisions made by the moderators. The only reason I took the "final decision" upon me is because this way I can show the players that I do indeed support the decisions - hell, I've approved them myself.

As for the game itself, yes; I have been neglecting the game. But I'm in my final year at college university, so well, I don't have much spare time. This should improve when my exams are over.

So please, try to play nice for just a tiny bit longer. I'll try to replace these written rules with automatically enforced rules asap, so that there won't be any place for discussion. I'm also working on quite big updates to the game engine that should allow me to launch a pretty nice new feature soon that will give the game a little more incentives.

Please keep in mind that I'm just a student; I can only do that much.

Yay! thats why beta is down! Like i said in the other topic I'm a programming, web design, graphics and application major and know Basic and am taking asp.ent and ajax right now, If this code is similar to asp.net then i can help you if you want it. I peaked into a javascript book yesterday and the code looked similar at a glance to me.

Daedeloth when you have time and soon, I would specifically like to know if you stand by demonics actions what I feel is uncalled for actions? Please reply  and see my post if you are unsure what I am talking about.

And by saying this do you approve by demonics banning people for a year or banning people from chat for calling him a jerk? I know its disrespectful but come on? Do you approve of his use of fowl language? Do you approve of his baiting people or his taunting other players with shrewd remarks?I saw his apology but I feel it is way beyond that. This isn't the first time hes apologized then came back later and started up all over again. If so then I have lost most respect for you. I hope that isn't the case.

Thijs, I agree with invi, something has to be done about Demonic. Even after all his apoligys and all the yelling screaming and stuff he tells a player to stop demanding stuff on open chat (he claims a pm went wrong).
We players get no voice, we have no rights, this is terorizing players.

technically this isn't a democracy(even if you live in one!) he doesn't have to listen to you anymore then he has to follow the laws of the United States(apart from international laws such as copyright infrigement) so your voice, in theory, means as much to him as Snookie's next sex partner(if you don't get it pray you never will). though he should keep in mind his players opinons if he would like his game to ever reach the heights he dreams of.

Keep in mind too he is a mod not the owner of the game.

Keep in mind too that the developer has asked the players  to give feedback many times. We don't get a chance, because off demonic. He tells us what to do, he tells us don't bother I think this and that will it be and when we disagree we get harrased in private. And  he admitted to share information about the game whether he gets it from the logs or asking players who have no choice but to give it if they don't want to be harrased or have him sharing information about them and so harming their game.
Democration? No. But Thijs/Daed (owner/ developer) is the one making the final disision, not Demo (just mod).

So Thijs, I'm asking you again (what is all I can do). When you have time, after the exams, please do something about your out off control mod= Demonic.

En om duidelijk te zijn: Demonic intimidatie is strafbaar in Nederland en België.
And to be clear: Demonic harassment is illegal in the Netherlands and Belgium.

no bad behaviour is allowed by anyone!
Mods are here to make sure there is none.
There's 3 mods who check on eachother, there's also the developer who check on them.

There's really not a lot more that can be done.
Complaints will be looked into and problems solved (might take some time) personal issues are personal issues, keep those out of the game/forum please.

3 mods? who? I am not mod on stable 2. Daed is busy with exams and isn't watching what you say half the time in the game. hellikin? I don't believe hellikin can make you behave and not harass other players by himself. Plus a mod (you) can un-ban himself, so it doesn't work to have a mod watch a mod. Mod's and/or players shouldn't have to babysit you. Keep personal things off forum? You should do the same? You have been remarking several times with bad comments to her and others on the forums. I for one don't wish to play this you will behave then come back and not behave over and over again.

That's a lot of garbage you guys (thank god you're just a few) pouring out over the mods and the developer.
Can you please take a really good look at yourself before pointing your fingers in other directions?

Invisi, you've allready made your point in 3 previous post, are you going to repeat yourself over and over again?

I can't recognize myself in any of these weird things you are writing here, to me it's obvious you are making things up and sharing this on this forum as if they are the truth.
As a game moderator i too can have a social chat, by no means is anyone forced to share information with me, neither is any information from player logs ever made public.
(but i'm starting to repeat myself as well, it's allready been said, no player log info has ever been shared and no player has ever been forced to give out information, no threats have ever been made by any mod, most accusations here seem to have personal ground)

Only a few? I count 6 in the letter to dev topic. One is talking about his entire clan, that's about
30% off the game. We only blame the dev for neglecting the game, which is in his post here.
Look at ourself? We are players, we don't repressent the game, we come here to play and act on the way the game (including mods) treath us.
I see new points in invisiblemans posts.
You have deleted posts which show you went out off line.
As for personnal grounds. You're not gonna do these things to people you like, so yes it's mostly the people who had problems with you before. That doesn't mean it's personal when they want to tell the dev you did wrong.
I'm sorry you think we make things up and you don't remember the things you said. Many players are trying to tell you they don't like the way you treat them and you just ignore it.

Yes, a few... and i've heard other saying everyone on the server, as well as their entire clan.

I didn't know 6 people counted for one entire server, but i guess math is hard for some people... (me included, let's ask doompope to come in wink )

Anyways, there's a lot of assumptions, hearsay and insinuations in a lot of posts and a lot of people might interpret that the wrong way. It's creating a bad atmosphere.
You yourself are not responding to the mods at all, you've been banned from this forum for life, yet you are here again... causing nothing but trouble.

As a previous mod stated very clearly, mods actions are not to be discussed on this forum, and his partner in crime mod banned you for creating a bad atmosphere.

Now i'm all for being open and honest, i just miss a lot of honesty in some comments, like i said, asumptions, alligations,accusations and hearsay... it's easy to blame the mods, take a look at yourself first.

What exactly started this riot?
Right, the reset of 2 well known cheaters caused a small group of their friends to start havoc in chat, followed very quickly by 3 or 4 people who have been opposing the mods on this server and the new rules since the beginning.
And you jumped in pouring even more oil on the fire with things you think might have occured.

You don't need to apologise to me, just play the game, have fun and i'll be happy!

6 people in the last topic alone on this forum , not the entire game or server.
I was banned and restored.
I am not here to cause problems, I am here saying what is wrong with the game. Like I did before and many things where changed before.
My banning before has nothing to do with what is happening now, if a mistake was made by the mods back then, take it up with them or the dev.
I am and do respond to mods. I am not responding to you in the game since you have harrased me before. I went into vmode on the game so you have no reason to bother me. I have reported you to the owner off this game and am waiting for his respons.
I did not create the bad atmosphere. The bad atmosfeer is already in the game.
I waited this long because I was asked to give you a change as mod. I did. You failed. I stepped into the discussing when I saw you calling frodo a liar when I know he is right (=> final straw or what's it called).
I don't think things have occured demonic, they did. Not once or twice but alot. Then you apologize for some and do it again. Some part off it is on open chat where all players can see it and Thijs could check up on it if he had the time.
Thanks to everybody opposing the new rules (which is players giving feedback to the dev) the dev will work on it. This is not a riot, don't blame us for pointing out the problems we find while playing the game. We are giving feedback to the dev. We are asking the dev to decide, not you.
I can not even be on the game in vmode because  you wont leave me alone, how do you expect me to play the game and have fun?
I will not apologize to you for saying the truth.

I don't know why we should bother with digging up further proof. There are dozens of witnesses and anyone that isn't blind and have been reading the chat and forums have seen what you say here demonic. If anyone has their old messages of in game feel free to post them here or inbox as well. And anyone feel free to look at peoples quotes of what demo has said..he couldn't delete those even though he has deleted most of his own incriminating posts here.
