There are still dumbasses who cast offensive spells while being attacked ![]()
I'm afraid the developers don't see any use in it, feedback is just a one way street in this game.

Yes, i beleive that list was once created when everything was still on beta.
Things have evolved.
Anyways, to prevent more people from playing like a n00b.
Summon ghosts and others are offensive spells.
(Same for thief actions like demoralize)
It's useless to cast that on your attacker.
If you are looking for a spell that will help you in defense i suggest you take a look at the fire weapons spell (gives units in your village more health, requires fire wizzard)

How sure are you on that? Textual description aside I am seeing some effects that would contradict that.
On speed v1 i felt fear 5 and demoralize helped

Those two I can only guess on... and with the probability engine I can't rely on any statistical data. But LS5 yields data that says it works on attackers.

Don't hate me but I think humans should have one or two more spells then dark elves in the next reset of speed. Just a slight lean to humans of spells but not overly done. I think dark elves have plenty advantage as is with unit strength over humans. I feel the more numbers of humans don't seem to cut it unless you are not getting as many runes threw attacking and build mostly defensively.
I've made a quick list of all effects with their result.

It's not very clear, but it's a start, at least you know what spell does what now ![]()

now can you confirm if
Level 5 Boost action (2h)
Target troops will flee the battlefield 9% faster.
Difficulty: 90
will work if casted on a village that is attacking you?
So for example, i;'m being attacked by player A
So i cast ghosts on him and use a thief to demoralize his troops.
Will both actions help me in defence of my village?
