Whamra can you please do something about the vacationmode? To many people are taking advantage off it.

yeah it should have a limit of only 3 times a year or so... i almost can't attack anyone anymore without my troops running for more than 24hours, or without losing a lot of honour

It is keeping people from quitting all together. I don't see a reason to really change it and then people just end up quitting cause they can't play later.

Chat should be disabled for vacationeers as well!!
When your on vacay you should get your but out in the sun (or anything that fits your style)not hang out in a games chatroom!
Your village is 38100% bigger than the defending village. You will probably lose 90 honour by attacking this village. If someone of your clan attacked this village earlier, every clan member will lose honour.

You would want to have chat when you go on vmode. None of the people that make the vmode subjects would even bother if they were ones in vmode themselves.

I dont think chat should be dissabled, you could be on vacation and come in just to check up on your friends, how are things and such, but you still dont have the time to be available full time. This is especially true for speed server where you need to be much more active then on stable.

and demonic, if i remember right, and i have no reason to think otherwise, you were WITH chat rights for vacationers when you were on vacation yourself

I second this feature request.
Being unable to post in public chat while in vmode shouldn't prevent people from dropping in and checking on things. They should still be able to *see* chat, right? And if they need to actively communicate, there are still PMs, right?

And since i used chat when i was in vmode (for the record: i never went in vmode to hide from attacks) the argument it should be disabled is no longer valid?

Brak just posted the solution i think, possible to read and catch up, pm's do the other stuff, let the chat (that is needed for battles and fast actions) to those who need it.

Wolfie_123 have you ever been in v-mode? if so should I accuse you of hiding in it? Have you ever went into it because you felt you didn't have the opportunity to play on that one server? Can you physically go into peoples minds and see what they are doing and why? One can't so you can't really punish everyone for it or change it that easy. If so then bunch of other features and things would be changed as well?

I am starting to think he is talking about how speed is dead v actually vacation mode problems. If that is the case wolfie, if there was some feature to kick my village out of vacation I would reset before giving runes away... its a scorched earth operation. I just think it irritates more people knowing there are hundreds of runes they have no way to get to.
But if you are talking about the "turtling" approach using vacation mode to grow slowly but invincibly... yes, that needs fixed.

Shame losers can't be good losers.
Also, this is the only game where the losers have a bigger attitude then the winners.
People get their ass kicked ingame for behaviour or just cause it's the game and still they won't shut up about how good they are, how they rule the game and how they NOT lost any war.
