Between the 18th and the 24th of December we will be selling Christmas trees in Dolumar. Each tree will cost 150 credits and all revenue generated will go to a good cause.
We have chosen for Music for Life, a yearly action of the Red Cross Belgium. This year they are gathering money to stop malaria.

Is there any in-game bonus to having a tree in one's village?
Or is this strictly a decoration & charity thing?

How long do the trees stick around for?
We haven't decided yet, but they will stick around for at least a month. If it's up to me they will stay forever

A quick suggestion. How about a continuous cycle, say mid January when ppl would normally be pulling down their christmas trees they are changed with another item that is paid for again but this time the proceeds are sent to another charity.
Snowmen (winter) or in my case SandCastles (summer) and proceeds go towards a possible different charity that deals with the environment!
I have a real concern that the carbon emissions from my Dark Elve village are having an impact!
Or to steal them!
And yes - that does beg the question, being a rune I hope that my tree cannot get stolen during the festive season!!!!!!! (jk)
